Marine lighting specialist Metro Marine Lighting, known for its anti-biofouling and anti-condensation technologies, has launched its new MM-CC-V1 Control Center and a companion mobile app.

The Metro Marine MM-CC-V1 enables control of a yacht’s lighting and electronics systems, including the capacity for 256 individual full-spectrum lighting fixtures, 15 fully programmable preset visual scenes, as well as custom scene capabilities.

For boatbuilders, system integrators and refit yards, the MM-CC-V1 integrates with industry-standard protocols, including NMEA 2000 and Garmin OneHelm.

Purpose-built for harsh marine environments and 12/24V DC systems, the MM-CC-V1 is designed to bring centralised, intelligent automation and real-time visual control to a vessel’s lighting and onboard electronics.

Metro Marine’s mobile app also allows boaters to customise their full vessel lighting system from their phone. Available for iOS from the Apple App store, the app offers real-time control and programming including the ability to blend hues and coordinate preset light shows and functions. The app also provides operation status notifications to alert users to lighting malfunction as well as potentially wider power issues on a vessel.

“The MM-CC-V1 sets the standard in marine lighting control, while maintaining a simplified setup and ease of use,” says Daniel Deutsch, president of Metro Marine Lighting. “This new controller paired with our mobile app offers boaters an unrivalled experience in precise lighting management. Together with our industry-leading lights, Metro Marine gives boaters an all-in-one solution for elevating their vessel’s aesthetics.”

Vessel integration and app

The system features an automated diagnostic startup protocol. Upon powering up, the Control Centre scans the entire lighting network, detects all connected fixtures and interfaces, verifies firmware versions and applies updates automatically.

Whether a boat is running advanced RGBW lighting, underwater lights or other digital accessories, the MM-CC-V1 is designed to provide complete system management through a single, intuitive interface featuring a unique ‘live view’ function for simplified and precise actions.

Metro Marine’s MM-CC-V1 Control Center joins the company’s extensive lineup of underwater lighting fixtures, as well as a series of accessories, wiring and mounts.

Earlier this year, the company also launched the F-Series Full Spectrum Underwater Lights.
