Lookout has expanded its global distribution and dealer network through a series of new partnerships across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

The firm, specialising in artificial intelligence for marine safety, said the expansion is intended to make its AI-powered marine vision technology available to a wider range of boaters.

New distribution partners include PowerDuo in Finland and Digital Skipper in Sweden for the Nordic region. Azimutel in Spain, RLR in Malta, Promar in Turkey for the Mediterranean, Nautiradar in Portugal, Exalto Emirates in the Middle East, C Dynamics International in South Africa, ISCO in Japan, and AMI and Exalto Emirates in the South Pacific.

Lookout’s AI marine vision system combines computer vision, augmented reality and real-time hazard detection to identify and track vessels, buoys, debris and other navigation hazards.

The technology – which won an NMMA prize at IBEX 2025 – is designed to assist operators in conditions such as darkness, low light, glare and congested waterways.

David Rose, CEO of Lookout (who recently featured on the Founder Podcast series), said the expanded network would help make the company’s technology more widely available while improving regional sales and customer support. “Our vision has always been to make AI marine vision available to boaters everywhere, regardless of where they operate.

“These partners bring deep regional expertise, exceptional customer relationships, and a shared commitment to defining what a modern helm should be.”

Lindsay Weyer, owner of South African distributor C Dynamics International, adds: “Lookout represents an exciting advancement in marine situational awareness by combining intelligent vision, augmented reality and real-time hazard detection in a solution that supports operators in all conditions.

“We’re proud to partner with Lookout and make this game-changing technology more accessible to boaters and marine professionals throughout our markets.”

Lookout’s AI marine vision system integrates with major marine electronics platforms including Garmin, Simrad, Raymarine, Furuno, Volvo and Yamaha.
