Nominations have opened for the fifth annual Maritime Solent Awards, celebrating regional innovation, business excellence, and emerging talent across the UK’s southern maritime cluster.

The awards aim to highlight the industry’s role in driving technological advancement, supporting new sector entrants, and underpinning the region’s world-class position as a leading hub for maritime excellence.

This year’s programme features 13 categories, including accolades for technological innovation, diversity, business achievement, and companies supporting the defence supply chain.

To be eligible, organisations must operate and deliver services within the Solent region. The qualifying area spans Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, as well as the coastal corridor from Poole in the west to Chichester in the east, encompassing the port cities of Portsmouth and Southampton.

Businesses and organisations from across the regional maritime sector are invited to submit their entries.

The Maritime Solent Awards include categories that recognise the achievements of businesses, innovators introducing new technology, new entrants to the sector, diversity, and an award that celebrates the companies supporting the defence supply chain.
