D-Marin has launched Marin-Up, an 18-month international graduate programme designed to develop future marina leaders across its network of 28 marinas in nine countries.
The programme combines operational placements, international mobility, and professional development, with participants gaining experience across customer experience, harbour operations, and business functions during the first year.
During the final six months, graduates will work with senior leaders on projects covering business growth, digital transformation, sustainability, innovation, and operational efficiency.
Training throughout the programme includes onboarding, operational training, health and safety training, leadership development, and participation in D-Marin’s Marina Manager Academy.
Oliver Dörschuck, CEO of D-Marin, says: “As D-Marin continues to grow internationally, developing future leaders becomes increasingly important for us and the sector. Marin-Up reflects our long-term commitment to investing in people, creating opportunities for young professionals, and ensuring we continue to build the capabilities that will support our future success.”
Successful graduates will be offered permanent managerial roles within the business.
Applications are open to recent graduates and candidates with up to two years’ professional experience. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in subjects including business, hospitality, maritime studies, engineering, finance, marketing, operations, human resources, or sustainability, and be fluent in English and at least one additional European language.
Christina Samoulada, chief human resources officer at D-Marin, says: “Participants will gain real responsibility from day one, work alongside experienced professionals and senior management, and contribute to meaningful projects across our international network.”
It has been a busy period for the growing marina brand – in July 2026, owner CVC Capital Partners agreed the sale of D-Marin to European independent private equity firm, InfraVia Capital Partners.
