Specialised fabrics manufacturer Morbern Europe has partnered with upholstery wholesaler Boyriven to broaden the availability of its vinyl materials in the UK marine sector.
Morbern produces marine fabrics specified by OEMs in Europe and North America. Its products, which carry a five-year warranty, are designed for use in a range of onboard environments, from exposed deck areas to interior cabins and saloons.
Morbern says the vinyl is engineered to withstand UV, mildew, stains and cold cracking. It is offered in multiple textures and colours.

Boyriven holds stock of more than 300 SKUs at its Andover facility, in southern England, enabling next-day delivery across the UK.
Carine Equeter, vice president of Morbern Europe, explains: “Whilst our central Belgian logistics platform allows us to service our mainland Europe markets well, the reality of the UK’s post-Brexit landscape is such that we needed to ensure we met the same performance standards across the UK.
“By joining forces with our long-standing partners Boyriven and expanding their Morbern outdoor fabrics offering, we can now propose a real alternative in terms of durable, performance-driven, decorative vinyl solutions.”

Chris Dicks, operations director at Boyriven, adds: “The UK marine market is all about choice and availability. This strengthened partnership with Morbern Europe delivers on both accounts and means UK customers can now also source cuts of their favourite Morbern products.
“The feedback over the first few weeks has been extremely positive – customers are looking for qualitative, value for money options and are also increasingly sensitive to the products’ green credentials.”
