Seattle Yachts has strengthened its position in the US’s West Coast market with the acquisition of Bay Area brokerage Atomic Tuna Yachts, in a move aimed at combining boutique expertise with national-scale operations. The deal expands Seattle Yachts’ presence in California and adds Atomic Tuna’s established customer base and marketing approach to the group’s growing portfolio.
Patrick Harrigan, chief executive officer of Seattle Yachts, says the partnership reflects a shared commitment to service and design. “Atomic Tuna Yachts has built a cult following among yachting enthusiasts,” he says. “By bringing their team and clients into our fold, we’re not just expanding our coverage — we’re elevating the entire yachting experience.”
Founded in 2018, Atomic Tuna Yachts quickly became known for its strong visual marketing and hands-on brokerage service, helping to connect Bay Area boaters with premium vessels. Under the new structure, Atomic Tuna’s operations will be fully integrated into Seattle Yachts’ network, offering access to a wider range of new and brokerage yachts — including larger and more technically advanced models.
Wayne Goldman, founder of Atomic Tuna Yachts, says the acquisition offers both companies new opportunities to reach customers seeking modern cruising options.
“Together, we’ll push boundaries and deliver boats that inspire adventure and confidence on the water,” he says. Goldman will also continue his role with Selene Yachts Americas, the US distributorship for Selene luxury trawlers. “It’s an exciting time to expand both brands and bring more owners into the Selene family,” he adds.
Seattle Yachts operates multiple locations across the United States, including offices in Seattle, Annapolis, San Diego, and Fort Lauderdale, offering sales, new yacht distribution, and service support. The acquisition strengthens its sales and service capacity on the West Coast, positioning the company for continued growth in the high-end leisure market.
