Penguin Refrigeration and Kuranda UK will now operate under a new joint brand, Penguin Kuranda. The announcement follows Penguin Refrigeration’s acquisition of Kuranda UK at the end of 2024.
Both companies are established suppliers in the marine and RV sectors. Penguin is recognised for DC refrigeration and marine air conditioning. Kuranda focuses on diesel boilers, heating systems, hobs and ovens. The firms say the new, combined entity brings these specialisms together, with the aim of delivering integrated off-grid systems for heating, cooling and cooking.
In a statement, Penguin Kuranda says the joint product range “is designed around efficiency, reduced power consumption, and reliable performance – giving our customers more choice than ever before”.
The firm adds that integrating the two teams will provide a broader base of expertise and technical support to customers across marine and RV applications.
In August 2023, Penguin launched a new EU branch based in Cork, Ireland. The new distribution subsidiary is called Penguin Refrigeration EU.
