Honda Marine UK has exhibited its upgraded high-power 4-cylinder and V6 outboard engines at the Southampton International Boat Show 2025 (running 19-28 September).

The BF150 and BF250 models displayed at the show highlight new components and design aimed at improving performance, durability, fuel efficiency and ease of use for the leisure, sport and commercial boating segments. As announced at the initial launch during the 2025 Miami Boat Show, Honda’s new engine models are now Europe-bound – with distribution through Honda Marine Europe dealers expected from early 2026.

These upgraded engines form part of Honda’s broader 4-cylinder range and V6 series, all featuring the latest technology and a refreshed exterior inspired by the BF350 V8. The engines are available for either drive-by-wire or mechanical control systems, and in signature Aquamarine Silver, Grand Prix White and the new Sporty White.

Drive-by-wire models now include automatic tilt, trim support, and cruise control, matching the feature on Honda’s flagship BF350 V8. Both the 4-cylinder and V6 outboards incorporate Honda exclusives such as Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST) for improved performance and Variable Valve Timing and Electric Control (VTEC) for fuel-efficient power delivery.

Joanne Beattie, PR and marketing at Honda Marine UK, comments: “Southampton Boat Show is always a great opportunity for us to catch up with current and new customers, so we are delighted that, for the first time in the UK, two of the enhanced models from our new 4-cylinder and V6 outboard engine range will be on display.

“We’re excited to present the upgraded BF150 and BF250 models, alongside our lineup of outboards ranging from 2.3 to 350 hp. We look forward to connecting with visitors and boaters to explore how the latest design enhancements across the new Honda Marine engine series can elevate their on-water experience.”

Honda Marine UK has also partnered with Highfield Boats, offering fully optimised boat-engine packages that include five Honda-powered Highfield Boats, three Maxima models, and a Honwave inflatable with Honda outboards.
