Global marine electronics leader, Raymarine, and Suzuki Marine, specialists in outboard engine technology, have joined forces to provide digital engine integration for Raymarine’s Axiom chartplotters.
The collaboration means Suzuki outboard owners can access real-time engine data directly on their Axiom displays, bringing vital engine details together in one interface at the helm.
The integration has been made available thanks to the release and upgrade of Raymarine’s LightHouse 4.10 operating system, giving Axiom users access to a comprehensive suite of Suzuki engine parameters. Boaters can now monitor speed over ground, RPM, gear position, oil pressure, trim and tilt, alternator voltage, fuel levels and rudder position.
In addition, the system supports Suzuki’s Troll Mode status (allowing the engine to maintain a precise, low-speed trolling RPM) and provides key alerts like oil pressure warnings, coolant temperature, engine and system faults and water-in-fuel alerts.
Alongside these live diagnostics, the Suzuki app on Axiom offers a trip data page that displays engine hours, trip distance, fuel consumption, average fuel economy, total propulsion fuel, fuel flow, and distance to go.
Michelle Hildyard, vice president of Raymarine Operations, comments: “We’re thrilled to partner with Suzuki Marine to deliver this powerful integration for our Axiom users. This collaboration reflects our commitment to providing boaters with seamless connectivity and a user experience that inspires confidence while on the water. With Suzuki engine data now fully integrated into the LightHouse OS, our customers can enjoy a smarter, safer, and more unified boating experience.”
Morio Omanyuda, division manager of the Suzuki Marine Marketing Division, adds: “It is our mission to provide Suzuki owners with the best possible experience on the water. This collaboration with Raymarine brings our engine technology to life in a new way—delivering critical performance data and alerts with clarity and precision. We’re proud to work with Raymarine to enhance the boating experience for our customers around the world.”
The new Axiom Suzuki app supports up to four compatible Suzuki engines and is available with the LightHouse 4.10 update. It is compatible with all current Suzuki outboard engines of 40hp and above when connected through the Suzuki NMEA 2000 gateway.
Additional devices and adapters allow connectivity with older models; owners are encouraged to contact Raymarine support for further compatibility guidance.
