Greenline Yachts has announced the addition of a new 42-ft (13 metres) model to its range, revealed during the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.

The first Greenline 42 is currently in build at the firm’s Slovenian shipyard and is set to hit the water in early 2026.

The new model introduces several updates to the Greenline portfolio, combining efficiency improvements, semi-custom flexibility, and fresh design elements from long-term collaborator and designer Marco Casali.

The Greeline 42 features a hull design by Micad, which is said to reduce drag and increase performance. Powered by two 250hp engines, the yacht will top out at 30 knots. The brand’s proprietary H-Drive 6G system enhances fuel efficiency and optimises battery charging, while enabling silent electric manoeuvring.

Solar capability has also been expanded, with 10 panels integrated into the coach roof to deliver an output of 4.1 kW, enough to run on-board appliances and speed up battery recharging.

The yacht introduces new social spaces, including a foredeck lounge inspired by the larger Greenline 58. The aft cockpit is available in two configurations, offering flexibility through features like a drop-down transom, lowering swim platform and optional removable furniture.

Inside, Casali has developed three interior style packages built around natural tones and renewable materials, including honey teak and modern oak finishes. Owners can also choose from multiple layout options, such as a second guest bathroom, a walk-in closet, or a vanity table in the owner’s suite. For the first time on a Greeline, dashboard-style climate controls are found at the helm station.

Casali explains: “The Greenline 42 was an exciting challenge for us. We aim to build on the success of our other models by incorporating even more comfort on board and adopting a more modern shape that respects our timeless lines.”

“From the interior point of view, the major revolution was the full glass end of the saloon, which allows for large openings in the galley and creates a strong connection with the cockpit, now offered in two versions. On the exterior side, instead, we tried to connect the modern shape of the new Greenline projects we designed, like the 58, with the classic shape that a boat like this is asking for,” Casali adds.

With a range of cabin, storage, galley, and lounge setups, the Greenline 42 is positioned as the brand’s most customisable yacht to date. Options include varied refrigeration forms, salon layout, and additional seating.

“Greenline Yachts believes that fantastic design has no shelf-life, so we don’t seek to constantly update or replace our models,” says owner and CEO Vladimir Zinchenko.

“When we do finally introduce a new boat, it is therefore no light decision. You can be sure that the new Greenline 42 has absorbed every inch of our know-how and will provide a reference in the market for decades to come. Timeless, long-lived design is a key part of our ResponsibleYachting commitment,” adds Zinchenko.

The Greenline 42 will officially launch at the beginning of 2026.
