Aiata is premiering its Sunfinder 50 and Sunfinder 38, introducing the two models simultaneously. Both boats were conceived in close collaboration with Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsén (Navia Design).

The Sunfinder 50 builds on the all-rounder philosophy introduced with the Wayfinder 38. Conceived as a fast and spacious family boat, it offers extended deck areas, and a larger aft platform. An additional cabin increases accommodation, making the 50 ideal for longer stays and larger families. A separate bathroom and toilet provide improved comfort and practicality.

The Sunfinder 38 maximises open-deck spaces and prioritises practicality and everyday usability. It’s billed as the gateway to the Sunfinder family. Aiata: Hall 4, stand D39.

First test sail on the Schlei: the innovative day racer Woy 26 – the name stands for Wooden Yachts.

The Woy 26 has recently completed sea trials and has been built at the Schlei based Königstein shipyard. The hull is produced using an in-house developed, patent-pending process: cold-molded and bonded using vacuum infusion. The radically modern crack comes from Martin Menzner (Berckemeyer Yacht Design) and ensures both sporty sailing at regattas and relaxed daysailing with the family crew.

Material and process development were part of a collaboration with the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE). And now the shipyard and the university have jointly applied for the Seifriz Prize, an award honoring collaboration between craftmanship and science with the winners to be announced during boot Düsseldorf on 23 January 2026.
