Premier Marinas has announced plans for a major investment project totalling £2m in Falmouth, with work set to start on 1 December 2025.
The project will be carried out in phases over four years to minimise disruption to berth holders.
Pontoon manufacturer Walcon Marine has been appointed to deliver the installation, which will include new electrical and lighting bollards from Sureline, as well as additional infrastructure to support future system upgrades.
The investment forms part of the marina group’s broader programme to enhance its network of UK marinas.
Premier Marinas, which acquired Falmouth Marina in 1998, also plans to dredge the outer harbour this winter to maintain safe navigation depths and begin refurbishment work on the marina’s reception area.
Mark Evans, Falmouth Marina manager, comments: “This project represents a significant investment in the future of Falmouth Marina. It’s exciting news for our team and existing berth holders, and I’m sure it will attract new customers to our idyllic marina on the Fal Estuary.”
