Barton Marine will showcase its latest product ranges at this year’s Metstrade show, highlighting an updated catalogue covering more than 2,000 deck hardware products.
The firm will officially launch its new Barton Bulkhead Gland Range on Tuesday (18 November), presenting a solution designed to provide water, vapour, and dust-tight transitions for pipes, tubes, and cables passing through boat bulkheads.
The range, available in various sizes, is designed to isolate boat compartments, improving safety and comfort by sealing apertures where pipes, tubes, and cables pass, including on curved surfaces and angled entries.
The new Bulkhead Pipe Glands meet the recently updated MCA Workboat Code 3 and MGN200 regulations, as well as being compatible with the MCA Pleasure, Sport and Leisure Codes of Practice.
Constructed from 316 stainless steel and BS 2751 nitrile rubber, they do not require mastics, sealants, or solvent-based resins. They are fully serviceable and adjustable.
Other notable features of the easy-to-install glands include reduced vibration, noise, and pipe chafing. The new range is available to purchase through Barton’s global distributor network, with pricing starting from £24.
Barton Marine has also expanded its yacht hardware portfolio for 2026, catering to the needs of sailors with new size 0 Stand Up Blocks, updated Stanchion Lead blocks, and a larger Low Friction Ring on a D12 SK75 Dyneema Strop.
Coinciding with the new gland launch will be Barton Marine’s annual press and product event. For the first time, the company will be introducing the range with live music, dancers, and a theme song performed by the Barton Bulkhead Blues Band on Tuesday evening (18 November) at 5:45 pm.
