Ingman Marine to acquire Florida marina

Cannons Marina

Ingman Marine, a fourth-generation family-owned boat dealership with more than 45 years in Southwest Florida, has entered into an agreement to acquire Cannons Marina on Longboat Key. The closing of the acquisition is imminent.

Following the acquisition, Cannons Marina will become Ingman Marine’s fourth location, extending its partnership with Grady-White Boats. Together, the two dealerships have more than 135 years of combined experience in the region, serving boaters across Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte Counties.

Ingman Marine has grown from a single location into a four-location business over nearly half a century. Now operated by the fourth generation of the family, the company maintains its partnerships with Grady-White and Yamaha Outboard Motors as part of its operations.

Founded in 1955, Cannons Marina is the oldest Grady-White dealer in Florida and has represented the brand for close to 50 years. The company has a longstanding customer base and established links within the local community.

Mike Brimer, CEO of Ingman Marine, says: “Together, Ingman Marine and Cannons Marina bring more than 135 years of combined history. That means unmatched expertise, trusted service and award-winning partnership with Grady-White – all continuing for generations to come.”
