Content lineup at Metstrade 2025: five stages cover industry’s hot topics

Metstrade show stage

Metstrade has revealed its stage and content programme for this year’s B2B trade show, taking place at RAI Amsterdam from 18-20 November 2025.

Spread across five dedicated stages, the programme of content is designed in collaboration with leading industry partners. The event organisers aim to provide clarity and growth opportunities for businesses currently handling rising costs, supply challenges, shifting consumer behaviour, compliance changes and wider geopolitical and economic hurdles.

Opening the event and the official opening keynote speaker will be Cheryl Brown, managing director for Le Boat. Brown comments: “I am very proud to be speaking at this year’s Metstrade opening session. Having worked in the travel industry for more than 30 years, and the marine travel sector for more than 20 years, I am deeply passionate about the growth, development and success of the leisure marine industry. I am looking forward to sharing my insights as well as visiting the Young Professionals Club to inspire the next generation.”

North America stage (Hall 12)

Co-hosted by NMMA, IBEX and Soundings Trade Only, this stage will highlight market trends, policy updates, certification and consumer research in the US and Canadian markets. A session from Discover Boating will outline new findings on the evolving profile of recreational boat buyers.

Superyacht stage (Halls 8-10)

Located within the newly expanded Superyacht Zone, this stage will host sector-specific panel discussions covering innovation, design, operations and refit trends. Sessions will explore topics including the potential for foiling technology in superyachts and the future of the refit sector.

Young Professionals Club

Daily sessions (at 4:00 pm) in collaboration with The Magenta Project will support career development in the marine sector, focusing on themes such as inclusive leadership, professionalism and workplace culture. The sessions will be followed by networking drinks.

The Magenta Project is a women’s sailing charity, which recently began a global mentor programme.

Foiling stage

Developed with The Foiling Organisation, this stage will deliver nine sessions exploring foiling design, sustainability, market development and opportunities to expand the adoption of the technology across the industry.

Networking

Alongside the curated and formal stage programme, Metstrade will host informal opportunities for learning and networking, including country pavilion events and new hospitality venues, Harbour 8, supported by Wager. The venue will offer three-course lunches for further networking opportunities.

In addition to this multi-stage content lineup, other recently confirmed agendas for Metstrade include the Women in Marine Industry International event and the lineup for the Yachting Ventures Startups Zone.

Patricia Becker, exhibition manager at Metstrade, concludes: “We have acted on the needs of the industry to create a Metstrade which caters to everyone, brings meaningful connections and answers every question in the sector. The content programme has been carefully planned to provide clarity regarding the global market and a clear route for visitors and exhibitors to expand. It’s an exciting chapter, and we look forward to being the key meeting point for the leisure marine industry.”
