The Women in the Marine Industry International networking breakfast and panel discussion will return to Metstrade on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at the Metstrade Stage, RAI Amsterdam, with the theme “Navigating Today’s Global Market.”

The annual event, running from 08:30 am – 10:30 am CET, hosted in partnership with Marine Industry News, British Marine, Metstrade and Soundings Trade Only, has become a key fixture on the B2B trade show schedule, drawing strong attendance and sparking industry-wide conversations on leadership, diversity and collaboration.

All genders are welcome to attend, and the event is open free of charge to all Metstrade attendees and exhibitors. The morning session will include a complimentary breakfast, panel discussion and space for networking.

This year’s panel will address how the marine industry is adapting to shifting consumer demands, rapid technological innovation, supply chain challenges and an evolving geopolitical landscape. Discussions will focus on leadership strategies, resilience and collaboration.

Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine, comments: “The pace of change in the global marine market is accelerating.

“As an industry, we must not only adapt but lead. This event provides a rare opportunity to hear from those doing just that – tackling real-time challenges and driving growth through innovation, diversity and decisive leadership.”

The 2025 event panel brings together leaders from technology, manufacturing, distribution and international events. Among them is Áine Denari, executive vice president and president of Navico Group, and chief technology officer of Brunswick Corporation, who has been central to advancing marine electronics and automation. She is joined by the director of Marine Business Planning at Yamaha’s US Marine Business Unit, Andrea Tetto, who oversees strategy and market intelligence.

Tanja Lutz, director of EMEA Sales & Service, Seakeeper, contributes her expertise in managing diverse regional markets. Sylvie Ernoult, show director of the Cannes Yachting Festival, brings more than a decade of experience at one of the world’s leading boat shows.

The discussion will be moderated by Michele Goldsmith, vice president and general manager of Soundings Trade Only Group, who has long championed inclusion and innovation in the sector.

Goldsmith notes: “This event keeps growing because it offers space for open conversation, fresh perspective, and genuine connection. We’re bringing together women who are not only leading in the marine sector but also shaping how the industry responds to global shifts in business, technology and consumer behaviour.”

Spaces are limited, and with last year’s session at full capacity, early registration is strongly recommended. Existing exhibitors or registered attendees can email British Marine with their full name, company and email address to be added to the list for the breakfast.
