Finnish boatbuilder Saxdor Yachts has confirmed a reorganisation of its dealer structure in the Adriatic, with Vrtinc Navtika rebranding as Newera Yachting and expanding its role to cover Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and Montenegro.

As part of this change, BEN-KOV, which has been Saxdor’s dealer in Montenegro since 2022, will continue as a sub-dealer under Newera Yachting, serving the local market while operating within a wider regional framework.

“Newera Yachting has been instrumental in developing our presence in central and south eastern Europe,” says Jon Hautamäki, sales director at Saxdor. “This consolidation reflects our trust in their team and their deep understanding of our brand and product philosophy in a market which remains vital for us, with its mix of seasoned boaters, growing marinas, and attractive destinations.”

The news comes soon after Saxdor Yachts expanded its partnership with Greek dealer Thrace Labea in June 2025, to include Bulgaria, Romania and Albania.

“We’re proud to strengthen our partnership with Saxdor and take on a broader role in the Adriatic region. It’s a brand we truly believe in: innovative, dynamic, and aligned with what our customers are looking for” adds Boštjan Granda, managing director at Newera Yachting.

The company says Newera Yachting’s experience and knowledge of the Saxdor lineup provide a stronger regional platform. Saxdor reports that this development supports its wider international expansion strategy, which includes a dealer network spanning five continents and 150 locations.

Saxdor Yachts was established in 2019 by designer Sakari Mattila. Its range includes models from 20ft–40ft, with larger designs in progress. Since the delivery of its first boat in 2020, the company has produced more than 3,000 units and builds around 700 boats annually.

Saxdor employs 800 people and operates facilities in Helsinki, Elk in Poland, and a new production site in Larsmo, Finland. The company also runs the Saxdor Academy, which provides specialist training and education for the boatbuilding sector.
