Barrus confirms changes to board

E P Barrus Ltd, a UK-based importer and distributor of marine equipment, has announced changes to its board, effective later this year.

Andrew Feilden will retire from the E P Barrus Ltd board on 30 September 2025, 31 years after first joining. He has previously served as chairman and has been closely involved in the company’s development. Feilden will continue as a member of the EPB Holdings Ltd board and remain in his role as trustee.

Kiki Glen joined the E P Barrus Ltd board as non-executive director on 1 August 2025, with the news confirmed by the firm in a statement issued yesterday (1 September 2025). Glen’s background includes corporate finance at a US investment bank, work as a teacher and as a therapeutic counsellor. She also serves as a governor of Headington School in Oxford.

Founded in 1917, Barrus operates in the marine, garden, industrial and vehicle sectors. It imports and distributes engines, engine-powered equipment, garden tools and accessories, representing more than 60 brands including Segway, John Deere, DeWalt and Mercury. The company has a network of more than 3,000 authorised dealers across the UK.

In 2023, the firm named Graham Knox as its chief executive officer. Knox replaced Robert Muir when he retired from Barrus at the end of December 2023 after 33 years at the firm.
