LKQ Leisure & Marine, a UK marine distributor supplying high-performance parts, systems, and accessories, has appointed Andy Taylor as sales director. He joins the leisure & marine business from LKQ Euro Car Parts, where he’s been regional manager for eight years.
Taylor’s appointment comes as the group establishes a new division for its specialist businesses, bringing together LKQ Leisure & Marine, LKQ Digraph and LKQ Bodyshop under a unified specialist channel leadership structure.
Taylor will report into Chris O’Rourke, who takes on a newly created role as managing director of specialist channels. O’Rourke has served as MD of LKQ Bodyshop since 2023, and prior to that spent three years as commercial director for LKQ Euro Car Parts.
Both are said to bring significant experience in commercial leadership, shaping culture, engaging teams and driving sustainable growth, complementing the specialist sector expertise embedded across the LKQ Leisure & Marine portfolio – home to LKQ Nova Leisure, LKQ Arleigh, LKQ Aquafax, ASAP Supplies, and Midland Chandlers.
“I’m proud to be joining LKQ Leisure & Marine as it enters the next chapter in its journey,” says Taylor. “This is a business built on decades of experience, long-standing customer relationships and the backing of LKQ. We have a unique opportunity within the sector to combine our colleagues’ specialist leisure and marine expertise with the scale, capability and logistics of the wider LKQ UK & Ireland group, to ensure our trade and end-user customers continue to receive the products, advice and support they need to succeed.”
O’Rourke says that there is incredible knowledge and passion within the leisure & marine business. “With a new leadership structure in place I’m confident we can harness that to help both colleagues and customers achieve their full potential. My role is to work with Andy – and the sales directors within our other specialist businesses – to provide clear leadership and direction, creating the right culture for teams to thrive, and consistently delivering for our valued customers.”
Bob Wiffen, business director will retire at the end of the year, after many years of dedicated service to LKQ UK & Ireland. Wiffen became business director in February this year, following the departure of Adam Ramsden, who served as managing director for six years.
