Flexiteek names new managing director in Sweden

Flexiteek International has appointed Juha Kauppinen as managing director of Sweden.

Kauppinen, who joined the company this month (August 2025), has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive sector, including senior leadership roles at Bulten Hallstahammar.

In his new role, he will oversee operations at Flexiteek’s Swedish production facility and form part of the senior leadership team.

“I am really excited to join Flexiteek and look forward to working together with the team and helping the development of the business,” says Kauppinen. He takes over from Tomas Gustafsson, who leaves after 19 years with the company.

Kauppinen joins the company following the launch of the Flexiteek 3 range in 2024, made with bio-attributed PVC. The product is available in 15 colours, including the Tritone range, with up to three caulking colour options.

Flexiteek International, established in 2000, produces synthetic decking and marine products. Its Wilks marine fendering products have been manufactured in the UK for more than 50 years.
