The 25ft market segment in North America is about to get a new offering from Nimbus Group’s brand EdgeWater.
The idea is that the EdgeWater 250CC will replace the previous bestselling 245CC. It’s been designed to meet requests from dealers and customers. These include ‘an unsinkable hull’, which has been built using vacuum infusion technology.
“The 250CC combines the qualities our customers say matter most — space, storage, fishability, and all-weather performance. It is not only the largest in its class, but also the best equipped for all conditions,” says Justin Joyner, vice president of Nimbus Group North America. In July 2025, Nimbus’ Q2 results intimated that uncertainty characterises markets, as net sales decreased eight per cent.

The launch marks the most significant product renewal within EdgeWater since 2020 and the first since Nimbus Group acquired the company in spring 2023.
The company says that product development is a cornerstone of its growth strategy. In recent years, it has launched several new boat models, including a new product line from Aquador and several new Nimbus boats (like the flagship Nimbus 495 Flybridge). Nimbus Group intends to continue renewing EdgeWater’s product offering.
Nimbus Group produces and markets powerboats, including those from the brands Alukin, Aquador, EdgeWater, Falcon, Flipper, Nimbus and Paragon Yachts. Sales are made through dealer networks, and the largest markets are the Nordic region, Europe and the USA.
In 2024, the group had sales of SEK 1,619m (£124.7m) and 377 employees. Its operations are conducted in Sweden, Finland, Poland, England, Norway and the USA.
