Dolomia Yachts, founded by a group of South Tyrolean entrepreneurs led by Alessandro Righi, has unveiled its first power catamaran range, developed in collaboration with Italian yacht design and engineering firm Centrostiledesign.
The company takes its name from the Dolomite rock to highlight qualities of strength and durability.
Dolomia Yachts’ first models, the D70 and D100, combine design and engineering from Centrostiledesign. The D100, a 72ft yacht with approximately 300 square metres of usable space, is configured to provide the volume of a 100ft monohull with efficiency comparable to a 60-footer.
The D100 can be arranged with different layouts, including a four-cabin configuration with a full-beam master suite or a five-cabin charter configuration with additional crew accommodation.

The D100 includes 66 square metres of solar panels generating 15kWp of power. It is constructed with non-toxic resins, FSC-certified woods, renewable cork and features a biological wastewater treatment system. Propulsion options include Volvo diesel engines with IPS or in-line transmission, hybrid and electric systems. The yacht also incorporates photovoltaic panels and semi-solid-state batteries.

Design features include a flybridge with a dynamic spoiler that raises during navigation, a retractable garage housing a five-metre tender, and an 18-square-metre beach club. Sustainability is central to the design, with emphasis on reduced fuel consumption and low environmental impact.
Construction of the first D100 is underway, with agreements signed with four major suppliers and contractors from established Italian shipyards. The first vessel is scheduled to leave the shipyard in 2026 and launch in 2027. Work is ongoing on the D70, a 55ft yacht with similar design elements on a smaller scale.
“We are very close to achieving the highest technological quality,” say Alessandro Righi and Davide Cipriani. “But above all, every object of desire must also be beautiful: many have complimented us on the elegance of our Dolomia Power Cat.”

Dolomia Yachts has also partnered with NSS Charter to offer charter management options for owners, including luxury charters on the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia.
